Coordination Done Right

One team, two benefit systems.

VA / Medicaid stacking

We coordinate both so the veteran gets the maximum hours without paperwork falling between the cracks.

Veteran-matched aides

Where possible we send aides with prior veteran-care experience — PTSD-aware, comfortable with structure.

My father served in Vietnam and always took pride in doing things on his own. But after his stroke, he needed daily support — and he wasn't comfortable asking for help. That changed when we found Amelia Home Care. They matched him with a caregiver who's also a veteran, and the connection was instant. Now he feels respected, understood, and supported every day — and that's made all the difference.

The Aid and Attendance amount is available for those who need the “aid and attendance” of another person for their routine daily living activities on a long-term basis.
